Central bunkers aren’t that common in Australia – the 12th at Kingston Heath perhaps the best known – but the fairway is wide and so provides plenty of space to play either side of the sand.

The second shot plays steeply uphill and bunkers left and right must be negotiated. Depending on the pin position the approach will sometimes be easier from the left (right pin) and other days the right (left pin).
